I'm close to you in age (I'm turning 36 next month) and resonated with your thoughts about having children, I used to say I did not want them at all, but the truth is I'm not sure and I feel similar to you. I also understand and share your thoughts about how dating can be exhausting and being scared of heartbreak. And also resonated with your conclusions about putting yourself out there. I am the same age and I feel the same way about kids. I kept hoping the "maternal instinct" will kick in but it has not happened. It's okay to feel that way :)

If you have the means I HIGHLY recommend freezing your eggs sooner rather than later. I don’t say that to fear monger because it is possible to conceive later in life, but as someone who is dealing with infertility I so regret not freezing my eggs. I'm about to turn 27 soon, and in our Asian culture, the pressure to get married is just unreal... I often feel judged at family gatherings/party .. it’s always bf pani chayina timrow ?? Type of remark 😢 ps. I couldn't agree more about the maternal instinct; I love kids, but I can't picture myself being a mom either lol 😆

I think egg freezing is a great idea, bc it’s a gift to your future self (it’s just giving you more choices in the future)

I'll be 60 in December and I haven't got it all figured out. However, I take a lot better care of myself and I focus on what I eat, what I drink. How much I sleep. I'm divorced long time. Been in a couple relationships since but don't want to anymore. I have three grown kids 34, 29 and 21. They're my proudest achievements. Love them so much! I have two sweet dogs. I've had a lot of health scares been through a lot physically. However, I like to say I'm tough as nails and I'm really focusing on enjoying life. Super love your videos. Always look forward to them. I found you two months ago and I'm addicted. Lol

Hi Tisha! Hope your neck is better now! If it's not, please go see an osteopath or a chiropractor, muscle strain like this kind tends to 'set' in the body (as I have experienced) and is difficult to get rid of. It's kind of a vicious circle too because you can't be 100% mobile and flexible and have to adjust (like barely being able to turn your neck). Congrats on the 19K btw!! WOOP WOOP!

Ugh Tisha I TOTALLY relate to the facial changes in my 30s. I also turn 35 in November and I recently noticed my first wrinkle and honestly I’m not taking it well :( that being said, something that I’m doing to prevent future wrinkles is meditation, and of course daily SPF. I've always said I'd never get botox, but getting your first wrinkle makes you rethink lol anyway, you look GREAT! ❤

Love the sit-down chat and just how much I align with your values and views on life. I just turned 30 and never felt pressured by society to settle down and have kids; I have been surrounded by very toxic relationships and miserable marriages all my life, so I was always happy to be alone rather than risk being in a bad relationship/marriage. I'm now in a beautiful long-term relationship but we both only want to get married in 5 years. Even though I love spending time with kids (I'm very very close to my nephew and niece to the point where I feel like I co-parented them haha), I have always had an intense fear of pregnancy, childbirth, and just being a mom in general. Like you, it's never something I wanted to be. I feel like so many mothers, including my own biological mom and my stepmom and my sisters and my friends, had to give up their happiness and dreams to raise children. I think I'm too selfish for that lol! I also feel like I have a vision of what I want my life to be like for myself and my family IF I do want children eventually, but right now I'm not there yet (especially financially). Maybe it'll change, and hopefully it does when I still can get pregnant and all that, but I also know it's not the end of the world if it doesn't happen!

I think you are wise in that you are thinking things through and not making quick decisions to regret later. I know you see yourself getting older but you still have lots of time for the big and small things of life.

I'm turning 29 in a few months and I have no idea what I'm doing with my life 😃 I feel this societal pressure and I have no idea how to approach it and I'm freaking out tbh.... Hey Tisha! I love the honesty. Listen, I am not even 30 yet and I get married next year and I still feel behind. I am like okay get married, then get a house, then kids it’s like my head is spinning 😵‍💫. I have to stop myself from being overwhelmed. But honestly, the best advice I can give (which I am giving myself as well) is yourself grace and take things day by day.

I’m a woman of 72 now. It pained me to listen to all of your concerns and I remember your age very well. I don’t like some of my body changes: wrinkles, weight, loss of muscle tone, but I love my inner self and confidence. No more questions in my mind about child bearing, career, relationships. Treat others as more important than yourself and love God with your whole heart, body, mind and strength. Everything else will fall into place.

Love the views of NY, that ramen looked delicious. Enjoy life and do what feels natural to you and makes you happy, society has placed too many staples!

I’m 37 & decided in the last few years that I didn’t want kids after raising my 6 year old niece solo for a year. I realized how much emotional capacity is required, the lack of solo time, the amount of time my brain has to be “on” & basically planning out everything in someone else’s day, the lack of flexibility after work hours b/c I was trying to maintain her routine…it was a lot for me. She still stays with me for 2 months every summer & it’s the highlight of my year, but I’m equally excited to get my free time back when I send her home lol. Plus lots of my friends have kids that I love to take care of & be around, but I think for my own mental capacity I’m better off just me & my pup.

LOL I hate to think what you will be like in your 70s!Because of the MSG they use I stay away from food with Ramen.
